This project was a long time dream come true! I had been wanting to design floral for a fashion runway for years and Detroit Month of Design 2023 was the perfect opportunity to make this dream a reality. Interwoven was an environmentally sustainable fashion show hosted by myself and Amy Lybolt of MI Honeybee Flowers. Fashion designers Nabeela Najjar, Ashley Karnowski, Logan Bre’yaire, and Matthew Richmond each created a set of eco-friendly wears that were modeled on the runway. Models entered through a split archway of tropical greenery to stroll below a 48 ft. hanging flower cloud.
